TL;DR: VeeSheets collects and processes only the data needed to sync your Veeqo data into Google Sheets. We store OAuth tokens and short-lived sync data on our servers, do not sell your data, and do not use it for advertising.
1. Introduction
VeeSheets ("we", "our", or "the service") is a Google Sheets add-on and backend service that syncs inventory data from Veeqo into Google Sheets. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information required to provide the service:
- Account and identifiers: Your email address (from Google), a Veeqo user id, and internal identifiers needed to create your account.
- Authentication tokens: OAuth access and refresh tokens for Veeqo, and a session token used by the add-on to authenticate to our backend.
- Veeqo data: Products/sellables, stock levels, orders, and purchase orders used to calculate velocity, stock health, and inbound risk.
- Spreadsheet inputs: SKUs you choose to sync (including manual SKU lists read from your sheet).
- Billing data: Stripe customer and subscription metadata for paid plans. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Operational data: Basic logs such as timestamps, IP address, and error information used for security and troubleshooting.
3. How We Use Information
- Authenticate you and connect to Veeqo and Google.
- Fetch, compute, and write your inventory snapshot into Google Sheets.
- Provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Protect the service against abuse and ensure reliability.
4. Where Data Is Stored and For How Long
We store data in the following places and for limited durations:
- Google Apps Script user properties: A session token stored by the add-on until you disconnect.
- Backend database: Your account record and Veeqo OAuth tokens are stored until you revoke access or request deletion.
- Sync job results: Stored for a short period (up to about 1 hour) to support background sync and polling.
- Velocity cache: Stored for a short period (about 4 hours) to speed up repeat syncs.
- Billing records: Retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Veeqo: To access your inventory data on your behalf.
- Google: To read and write data in your Google Sheets.
- Service providers: Hosting and infrastructure (Render), database (Supabase), and payments (Stripe).
6. Google API Services Data Policy
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features in the add-on, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or to train generalized AI/ML models.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS, OAuth 2.0, and access controls to protect your data. No passwords are stored by VeeSheets.
8. Your Choices and Controls
- Disconnect: You can disconnect the add-on at any time to revoke access.
- Revoke OAuth: You can revoke Veeqo or Google access from those account settings.
- Delete: You can request deletion of your account data by contacting support.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
10. Children's Privacy
VeeSheets is not intended for use by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
